for al of my art career i've strictly struck to being a 2D artist, y'know. drawing outlines and coloring in flat two dimensional images. but as of late i've been dipping my toes into 3D stuffs, like 3D modeling and animation.
at first i was dicking around with SFM, but holy shit that software is trash. at least in terms of performance. you can't do a single thing in that program without it having a digital asthma attack. a dementia ridden old guy with scoliosis would probably run a marathon better than SFM. but i digress.
now i've been messing around with Blender. i've touched and poked Blender for years, mostly back when i was trying to make shitty FNAF fangames at age 10 or 11. but i never really took the time to completely learn it, however now i've gotten a solid grasp on Blender, mostly with the help of my friend Nasir.
i've gotten to a level where i can model and rig a low-poly N64 type model (no deformities), and i can even somewhat animate, albeit in a more stop motion frame by frame style since that's what i'm comfortable with. but point is - i'm learning Blender and i'm learning it fast. in fact - i've even made some small animations with some simple Minecraft character rigs Nasir gave me, since he used to be a decently known Minecraft animator years back.
look out Pixar..... i'm gonna surpass you
