Today's officially Friday Night Funkin's 2 year anniversary, and god it feels weird.

It feels weird knowing that so much has happened already, both with the game itself and the community. It really feels like yesterday I was trying to make shitty reskins in Medibang before I got Flash. I discovered FNF briefly before Week 6 came out, I believe I saw fanart of it while scrolling through Instagram and my interest got peaked.

So I ended up playing the Week 6 update, and I've been a fan of the game ever since. I just wanna thank the Funkin' Crew for really giving me the kick to improve my art, animation, and music skills, cause ever since I feel my art has gotten cleaner and my music has gotten better to listen to. I still gotta work on my animation, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

I discovered FNF when I was 17, depressed in the 10th grade, taking my online classes during COVID. Now I'm 18, still depressed, and in the 12th grade. Now I have several mods under my belt, both of my own creation and ones I had simply worked for. As many gripes as I have with the community, I still love the base game despite it all.

Happy two years, Funkin' Crew. Thanks for everything.

Well, this is something I've been needing to do for a while!

I ain't gonna be able to post for a while. My computer is broken cause a power outage corrupted it. I might post doodles drawn with my phone, but I can't guarantee full pieces.

So, I know it's been a little over a week since I've posted, but I think I should announce this since it's something I feel I need for just a bit.

I'm gonna take a break from posting art for a little while. Just to be clear: nothing is wrong, I'm perfectly okay. I just feel like it is time for me to rest for a little after worrying about what to draw every day for a while now. But, I am okay, this is just so I don't burn myself out. We all gotta take a rest every now and then, y'know? My rough estimate is that I'll be back sometime during Summer, but don't count on it, I'm just gonna be on break for as long as I need.

If you're reading this, it is because you've stumbled upon my Newgrounds page. And for that, I welcome you!

My name is Samuel, or SlightlyCreative as I go by online. But you're free to call me Samuel, or Sam, Sammy, whichever of those three you prefer. I'm a young guy who loves to create things, I love to draw, make music, but most of all there is my dream career: game development.

Ever since 2014 I have been trying to make my own games. And while I can't say I'll post them here on Newgrounds, I can say that you can find them on my itch.io which is linked in my bio, so feel free to check that out! Maybe you'll find something you like.

Content you can expect to find from me here is art, music, and maybe an animation or two if I can get off my ass to actually practice animation. I draw things like fan art of games and TV shows I like, to even my own characters with their own antics, personalities, and backstories!
